Between this week and last week, Mother Nature decided to dump a foot of snow on top of my house. How dare she! I mean I moved down to the south to get away from the cold and snow. (Well not really, I moved south because I needed a place to live twenty- three years ago and had a friend here who needed a roommate.) But I have grown used to the nicer weather than what they get back in Massachusetts.
When they predicted snow around 5-8 inches, no one expected to get a foot. This is the first time in twenty- two years since my husband and I have been together we have seen this much snow here. The 1st time was like ten inches and he plowed our then driveway with his Grandam.
Over the years, we’ve learned, even though we’re from up north, we just stay inside. Wrapped up in blankets and staying busy. Briar doesn’t like the snow. But who would blame her. She’s an old lady and who wants snow up their butt. I wouldn’t. LOL.
Nothing crazy weird going on, just giving a quick up date on being frozen this weekend.
