Wow can you believe that it’s almost Halloween? I can’t. Where has the time gone? The leaves are falling and the veil is this? So my question for you is, have you ever been touched by a ghost or something else?
The cold hand sliding along your skin. Claws scraping along your flesh, leaving a burning mark. Something other than pleasant depending on what kind of spirit we’re talking about. The gentle hand of warning from a guardian spirit. Or something else playing tug of war with you? The tug of a child on your coat or maybe brushing aside your hair.
All of those are real things that have happened to me or people that I know. It seems strange to talk about, but weird stuff does happen. We may not like to talk about it because the response is “People will think I’m crazy.” I don’t think your crazy. And you might think I’m a little nuts, I mean to be an author you have to be a little off kilter (haha), but it’s not about what you think of me. I’m just proposing the subject and telling you of my experiences with it.
I’ve had a couple of instances where I’ve felt something otherworldly touch me with enough force I could tell it wasn’t my imagination. One time, with a group of friends, we had gone over to another friend’s house that had something nasty inside of it. I don’t know exactly what it was, but it made me nervous. Hanging outside on the patio and trying not to leave due to the bad mojo of the thing inside, I heard a voice in my ear telling me to calm down and then hard hands, male coming down on my shoulders, telling me it was going to be okay and I wasn’t in danger. Needless to say, it’s stuck with me.
Another time, I was a teenager, sleeping at my grandmother’s house. That night, I woke up with something grabbing onto my ankles, pulling me down the bed as something wanted me. Another set of hands grabbed onto my arms and pulled me backward. My guardian won out and drove off whatever had gotten a hold of my ankles. Weird, right?
I’ve had other scarier encounters, but this isn’t about me. It’s about you.

One night I was gaming and I felt the hair on the back of my head lifted and fluffed by hands. I thought it was my hubby so I turned around to talk to him and the room was empty. It was such a palpable feeling I went in search of my guys and both were sound asleep. I wasn’t afraid but definitely had the willies for the rest of the night. I told my hubby the next day. I don’t always think he believes me when I tell him those things. I am glad I haven’t experienced some of the scarier sounding things you have.
