So you’ve stumbled into our little corner of the bookish universe, huh? Welcome! Pull up a digital chair and have some tea.
We’re the Shenanigators: a co-op of writers who are, first and foremost, friends. We’re a close-knit group that talks all the time, meets weekly, and shares both the best and worst life has to offer with each other. Sometimes we even write books.
Shocking, I know.
You’ll get to meet the others later this week. For now, though, you’re stuck with me: the loudmouthed, cynical-yet-optimistic ADHD dork with very strong opinions on the Oxford comma and absolutely no brain-to-mouth filter. Unfortunately for you, that means I don’t always know when to stop talking and can make any situation unbearably awkward in exactly two-point-one seconds.
My name is Susan H. Roddey. I write dark fantasy and horror, but I’ve also been known to write romance at times (if you’ve ever seen the name Siobhan Kinkade float across your screen, that would also be me). In addition to being a writer, I’m also a pathological crafter, voracious reader, and amateur video gamer who likes to cook, hates to clean, and often lists “Swamp Witch” as my dream job.

That’s me. Well, a version of me. My hair is probably a different color by now.
I’ll be hanging out here on Mondays, providing you with top-tier [debatable] content: book reviews, writing rants, writer interviews, recipes, and whatever unhinged nonsense the squirrels in my head decide to offer.
I’m sorry. Or you’re welcome. Take your pick. But either way, I’m glad you’re here.
